Lagaidim.com ("Lagaidim", "we", "our", "us", "Store", or "Website") is a legally registered e-commerce business operating from Dallu-15, Kathmandu, Nepal.
This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how orders placed through Lagaidim.com are processed, dispatched, transported, and delivered within Nepal.
This Policy should be read together with Lagaidim.com's Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Payment Policy, Cancellation Policy, and other applicable policies published on Lagaidim.com.
This Policy is intended to comply with applicable laws and regulations of Nepal, including the Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Act, 2081, the Consumer Protection Act, 2075, and other applicable laws and regulations, while incorporating generally accepted international e-commerce shipping practices.
1. Delivery Coverage
Lagaidim.com currently provides delivery services within Nepal, subject to the availability and service coverage of our delivery partners.
Depending on the destination, order type, availability, and delivery requirements, orders may be delivered through:
- Lagaidim's in-house delivery team
- Pathao Delivery
- Nepal Can Move
- Yango
- inDrive
- Other delivery or logistics partners selected by Lagaidim from time to time
The delivery partner assigned to an order may vary depending on the delivery location, availability, cost, serviceability, order size, urgency, and other operational factors.
Lagaidim reserves the right to select or change the delivery partner where reasonably necessary.
2. Estimated Delivery Time
Our general estimated delivery timelines are:
Kathmandu and Lalitpur: Approximately 2 to 3 business days.
Outside Kathmandu Valley: Approximately 4 to 15 working days.
These timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Delivery time may vary depending on the destination, order processing time, product availability, payment verification, courier capacity, weather, road conditions, public holidays, transportation conditions, security conditions, and other circumstances beyond Lagaidim's reasonable control.
Certain remote or difficult-to-access locations may require additional delivery time.
3. Business Days and Working Days
Estimated delivery periods generally refer to business or working days and may exclude public holidays, weekends where the relevant delivery service does not operate, and other days on which the applicable delivery service is unavailable.
The actual delivery schedule may differ depending on the delivery partner, destination, and circumstances affecting transportation.
4. Order Processing Time
Delivery time generally begins after the order has been successfully confirmed, payment has been verified where applicable, and the order is ready for dispatch.
Orders may require additional processing time where:
- Stock needs to be verified
- Payment needs to be verified
- Customer information needs to be confirmed
- The product is being transferred from another location
- Additional product preparation is required
- The delivery address requires clarification
- The order is unusually large
- The selected delivery service is temporarily unavailable
- The order requires special packaging or handling
Lagaidim may contact the customer through an official communication channel for confirmation or clarification before dispatch.
5. Stock Availability and Dispatch
A product appearing as available on the Website does not necessarily guarantee immediate physical availability in our warehouse.
Inventory may change because of online orders, offline sales, stock transfers, supplier updates, inventory synchronization delays, or other circumstances.
Lagaidim may confirm product availability before dispatch.
If additional time is required to arrange a product, the customer may be informed through an official communication channel.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Lagaidim may contact the customer to discuss the available options in accordance with applicable law and the relevant Lagaidim policies.
6. Delivery Partners
Lagaidim may use its own delivery team or third-party delivery and logistics services, including Pathao Delivery, Nepal Can Move, Yango, inDrive, and other providers.
Third-party delivery services operate independently and may have their own terms, operating areas, delivery procedures, tracking systems, service limitations, and operational schedules.
The delivery partner assigned to an order may not always be the customer's preferred delivery service.
7. Tracking Information
Where tracking is available, Lagaidim may provide the customer with a tracking number, tracking link, delivery reference, courier contact information, or other relevant tracking details.
Customers should use the tracking information provided to monitor their shipment.
If the order is being delivered by a third-party delivery partner, customers may contact the respective delivery service using the tracking information or contact details provided.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after an order has been dispatched.
8. Delivery Delays
Lagaidim makes reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimated timeframe.
However, delivery delays may occur due to circumstances including:
- Heavy traffic
- Road closures
- Road conditions
- Weather
- Floods
- Landslides
- Natural disasters
- Strikes
- Public holidays
- Political events
- Security restrictions
- Courier workload
- Incorrect customer information
- Customer unavailability
- Failed delivery attempts
- Address verification issues
- Vehicle or transportation problems
- Technical issues
- Supplier or warehouse delays
- Unexpected operational issues
- Other circumstances outside Lagaidim's reasonable control
Estimated delivery dates therefore should not be interpreted as guaranteed delivery deadlines.
9. Responsibility for Third-Party Delivery Mishaps
Once an order has been handed over to a third-party delivery partner, certain delivery-related events may be outside Lagaidim's direct control.
This may include:
- Delivery delays
- Mishandling during transportation
- Accidental damage
- Lost shipments
- Incorrect delivery attempts
- Delivery partner communication issues
- Tracking delays
- Courier-related operational problems
Where a mishap occurs while an order is under the responsibility of a third-party delivery provider, the matter may primarily be investigated with the relevant delivery partner.
However, Lagaidim will reasonably assist the customer in examining the issue, communicating with the delivery partner, and attempting to resolve the matter.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to remove any legal responsibility that Lagaidim may have under applicable law.
10. Damaged Packages During Delivery
Customers are encouraged to inspect the external condition of the package at the time of delivery, where reasonably possible.
If the package appears visibly damaged, opened, tampered with, or significantly compromised, the customer should:
- Inform the delivery person immediately where possible.
- Record photographs or videos of the package condition.
- Contact Lagaidim through an official communication channel as soon as possible.
- Provide the order number, tracking information, photographs, videos, and relevant details.
- Cooperate with any investigation requested by Lagaidim or the delivery partner.
Lagaidim may coordinate with the relevant delivery provider to investigate the incident.
Any resolution relating to damaged goods will be handled in accordance with Lagaidim's applicable Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
11. Lost or Missing Shipments
If an order does not arrive within a reasonable period after dispatch or tracking indicates an abnormal delivery status, the customer should contact Lagaidim using the official contact information.
Lagaidim may contact the relevant delivery partner to investigate the shipment.
The investigation may involve reviewing:
- Tracking information
- Delivery records
- Courier records
- Delivery attempts
- Customer communications
- Proof of delivery
- Other relevant information
Customers should cooperate with the investigation where reasonably required.
12. Incorrect Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
This may include:
- Full name
- Telephone number
- Municipality
- Ward
- Street or locality
- Building or house information
- Landmark
- Delivery instructions
- Other information necessary for successful delivery
Lagaidim shall not be responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, additional delivery costs, or other issues resulting from incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misleading delivery information supplied by the customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If the customer provides an incorrect address, the customer should contact Lagaidim immediately.
Where a delivery partner charges an additional fee for redelivery or address changes, such charges may be applicable to the customer where legally permissible.
13. Customer Availability
Customers are expected to remain reasonably available at the provided delivery address or provide an authorized recipient to receive the order.
If the customer is unavailable, the delivery partner may attempt to contact the customer or make another delivery attempt according to its operational procedures.
Repeated failed delivery attempts may result in the shipment being returned to Lagaidim or otherwise handled according to the delivery partner's procedures.
Additional delivery charges may apply where permitted by applicable law.
14. Authorized Recipient
Unless otherwise specified, a customer may authorize another person to receive an order on their behalf.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the authorized recipient is available and capable of receiving the shipment.
Lagaidim or the delivery partner may request reasonable confirmation of the recipient's identity or order information where necessary for delivery security.
15. Cash on Delivery
Where Cash on Delivery (COD) is available, the availability of COD may depend on:
- Delivery location
- Product category
- Order value
- Delivery partner
- Customer history
- Current operational conditions
- Product availability
- Other applicable restrictions
Lagaidim reserves the right to restrict COD for certain products, locations, customers, or orders where reasonably necessary and legally permissible.
The customer must pay the applicable order balance to the authorized delivery person or through the officially designated payment method.
16. Cash on Delivery and Partial Prepayment
Lagaidim may offer Cash on Delivery for eligible orders and locations.
However, depending on the product, order value, customer history, delivery location, product availability, order characteristics, or other operational considerations, Lagaidim reserves the right to request a partial payment or advance payment before dispatching a COD order.
The partial payment may be requested to cover or reduce the risk associated with:
- Packaging
- Order preparation
- Initial delivery
- Return transportation
- Courier charges
- Payment processing charges
- Special handling
- Other reasonable costs associated with processing and attempting to deliver the order
The customer will be informed of the applicable partial payment amount before the order is dispatched.
The remaining balance, after accounting for the valid partial payment, shall generally be payable upon successful delivery of the order through the applicable COD method.
17. Failure to Receive a COD Order
Customers are expected to receive their confirmed orders when the delivery partner attempts delivery.
If a customer:
- Refuses to receive a confirmed order without a valid reason;
- Remains unavailable after reasonable delivery attempts;
- Provides an incorrect or incomplete delivery address;
- Provides an unreachable or incorrect telephone number;
- Fails to respond to delivery communications;
- Requests cancellation after dispatch without an applicable cancellation right; or
- Otherwise causes the shipment to be returned to Lagaidim,
the order may be treated as a failed delivery or return-to-sender shipment.
Where a partial payment has already been collected, Lagaidim may deduct reasonable and documented costs actually incurred in connection with the order, including, where applicable:
- Product packaging costs
- Order preparation costs
- Initial delivery charges
- Return-to-sender delivery charges
- Courier handling charges
- Transportation charges
- Non-refundable payment processing charges
- Other reasonable and directly related costs incurred by Lagaidim in processing and attempting to deliver the order
After deducting such applicable costs, any remaining balance of the customer's partial payment may be refunded in accordance with Lagaidim's applicable Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
The amount retained shall be limited to reasonable costs actually incurred and shall not be treated as an arbitrary penalty.
If the actual reasonable and documented costs incurred by Lagaidim exceed the amount of the customer's partial payment, Lagaidim may request the customer to pay the outstanding difference, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Return-to-Sender and Additional Delivery Costs
If an order is returned to Lagaidim because of the customer's failure to receive the shipment, incorrect delivery information, repeated failed delivery attempts, refusal to accept the package, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, the customer may be responsible for reasonable and documented delivery and return-to-sender costs actually incurred.
If the customer subsequently requests that the same order be dispatched again, Lagaidim may require payment of applicable additional delivery, return, packaging, or handling charges before re-dispatch.
19. Customer-Borne Return Shipping Costs
Where a customer is responsible for returning a product to Lagaidim under the applicable Return and Refund Policy, the customer shall generally be responsible for the cost of returning the product to Lagaidim, unless:
- Lagaidim has expressly agreed to bear the return shipping cost;
- The return is required because of an error attributable to Lagaidim;
- The wrong product was supplied by Lagaidim;
- The product was materially damaged before delivery due to circumstances for which Lagaidim is legally responsible; or
- Applicable law requires Lagaidim to bear the relevant cost.
Customers should contact Lagaidim through an official channel before sending a product back where the applicable Return and Refund Policy requires prior authorization.
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or processed until the return has been verified.
20. Refund of Partial COD Payment Following Failed Delivery
Where a partial payment was collected for a COD order and the order is subsequently returned to Lagaidim due to circumstances attributable to the customer, the refundable amount, if any, shall be calculated after deducting reasonable and documented costs incurred in:
- Packaging
- Order preparation
- Dispatch
- Initial delivery
- Delivery attempts
- Return transportation
- Courier handling
- Payment processing
- Other directly related costs
For example, if a customer pays a partial advance of NPR 1,000 and Lagaidim incurs NPR 750 in reasonable and documented costs relating to packaging, delivery, return transportation, and other directly related charges, the refundable amount may be NPR 250.
If the applicable costs exceed NPR 1,000, Lagaidim may request payment of the remaining difference, subject to applicable law.
Any eligible refund shall be processed using an appropriate payment method and within a reasonable period after the applicable investigation and cost verification have been completed.
21. No Automatic Forfeiture of Partial Payment
Any partial payment collected by Lagaidim shall not automatically be forfeited merely because an order was not received.
Where a customer is entitled to a refund under the applicable policy or law, Lagaidim will calculate the refundable amount after considering reasonable and documented costs actually incurred in connection with the failed delivery.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any mandatory consumer rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
22. Customer Responsibility for Confirmed COD Orders
Customers placing COD orders acknowledge that placing an order creates an intention to purchase the selected products and that Lagaidim may incur costs in preparing and dispatching the order.
Customers should therefore place COD orders only when they genuinely intend to receive the products.
Repeated refusal of COD orders, repeated failed deliveries, or misuse of COD services may result in:
- Restriction of future COD availability
- Requirement of full or partial prepayment
- Cancellation or rejection of future orders where legally permissible
- Additional delivery or handling charges where legally permissible
- Other reasonable measures to prevent misuse of the service
23. Prepaid Orders
For prepaid orders, delivery will generally be initiated after successful payment verification.
Customers should only make payments through payment methods officially provided by Lagaidim.
Lagaidim shall not be responsible for payments made to unauthorized individuals, unofficial accounts, fake social media profiles, fraudulent QR codes, or other unofficial payment channels.
Customers should verify the payment details through Lagaidim's official Website or official communication channels before making payment.
24. Delivery Charges
Applicable delivery charges will be communicated or displayed to the customer before order confirmation where reasonably practicable.
Delivery charges may vary depending on:
- Destination
- Delivery distance
- Delivery partner
- Order size
- Package weight or dimensions
- Delivery urgency
- Service type
- Applicable promotions
- Other logistical factors
Lagaidim may offer free or discounted delivery during selected promotional campaigns subject to the applicable campaign terms.
25. Remote and Difficult-to-Access Locations
Delivery to remote, rural, restricted, mountainous, or difficult-to-access locations may require additional time or additional delivery arrangements.
Certain locations may not be directly serviceable by a particular delivery partner.
Where direct delivery is unavailable, Lagaidim may coordinate an alternative delivery method where reasonably possible.
Any additional delivery charges or arrangements will be communicated to the customer where applicable.
26. Delivery Partner Changes
Lagaidim may change the delivery partner assigned to an order where necessary due to:
- Availability
- Location coverage
- Delivery capacity
- Operational requirements
- Cost
- Service reliability
- Customer requirements
- Other logistical considerations
A change in delivery partner does not automatically constitute a cancellation of the order.
27. Delivery Instructions
Customers may provide reasonable delivery instructions during checkout or through official customer service channels.
Lagaidim and its delivery partners will attempt to follow such instructions where operationally feasible.
Special delivery instructions cannot always be guaranteed due to safety, security, courier procedures, traffic restrictions, building policies, or other operational limitations.
28. Delivery Confirmation
A delivery may be considered completed when the delivery partner records the order as delivered through its delivery system or obtains reasonable confirmation of receipt.
Proof of delivery may include:
- Customer confirmation
- Recipient confirmation
- Delivery code
- Signature
- Photograph
- GPS or location confirmation
- Digital delivery confirmation
- Other delivery-partner records
Where a customer disputes a delivery marked as completed, Lagaidim may investigate the matter with the relevant delivery partner.
29. Delivery Tracking and Customer Support
For third-party deliveries, customers should first check the tracking information provided by Lagaidim.
If the tracking information shows a delay, failed attempt, location issue, or other delivery update, the customer may directly contact the respective delivery service using the provided tracking number, tracking link, or official contact information.
Customers may also contact Lagaidim for reasonable assistance with the delivery issue.
30. Delivery Delays Beyond Estimated Time
If an order exceeds the estimated delivery period, customers should contact Lagaidim through the official channels with their order number or tracking information.
Lagaidim may investigate the status with the applicable delivery partner.
The estimated delivery period is not a guaranteed delivery deadline because Lagaidim depends partly on third-party logistics services.
31. Public Holidays and Exceptional Circumstances
Delivery schedules may be affected by Nepalese public holidays, festivals, national events, strikes, transportation restrictions, weather conditions, road closures, natural disasters, and other exceptional circumstances.
Such periods may result in longer delivery times than the standard estimated delivery period.
32. Products Requiring Special Handling
Certain products may require additional handling or transportation arrangements due to their nature, packaging, size, fragility, or applicable transportation restrictions.
Lagaidim may determine the appropriate delivery method for such products.
For perfumes and other fragrance products, transportation may also be subject to the operational requirements or restrictions of the selected courier or logistics provider.
33. Shipping of Clothing and Wearable Products
Clothing, apparel, footwear, accessories, jewelry, watches, bags, and other wearable products will be packaged and dispatched according to the product type and applicable delivery requirements.
Customers should ensure that the selected:
- Size
- Color
- Variant
- Model
- Quantity
- Delivery address
is correct before placing an order.
Customers should refer to the product's available size chart, measurements, photographs, descriptions, and other information before ordering.
Actual color may appear slightly different from images due to lighting, photography, screen settings, device displays, and other factors.
Delivery of a product does not guarantee that the selected clothing size or fit will meet the customer's personal preference.
Any size-related exchange or return will be governed by Lagaidim's applicable Return and Refund Policy.
34. Packaging
Lagaidim aims to package products appropriately for transportation.
Packaging may vary depending on:
- Product type
- Size
- Fragility
- Delivery method
- Manufacturer packaging
- Courier requirements
External packaging may differ from the original manufacturer's retail packaging.
35. Delivery Partner Liability and Investigation
Where a shipment is transported by a third-party delivery provider, the delivery provider may have responsibility for incidents occurring while the shipment is in its custody, subject to its own terms, contractual obligations, and applicable law.
Lagaidim will reasonably cooperate in investigating reported incidents and may communicate with the delivery provider on the customer's behalf.
The final resolution of a delivery incident may depend on the findings of the relevant delivery provider, available evidence, applicable law, and Lagaidim's applicable policies.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that a customer may have under applicable law.
36. Customer Cooperation
Customers may be required to provide reasonable information or evidence when reporting a delivery issue, including:
- Order number
- Tracking number
- Contact details
- Delivery address
- Photographs
- Videos
- Package condition
- Delivery communication
- Other relevant information
Failure to provide reasonably requested information may make it difficult for Lagaidim to investigate the issue.
37. Fraudulent or Suspicious Delivery Activity
Lagaidim reserves the right to investigate suspicious orders or delivery activity.
Orders may be delayed or held for verification where there are reasonable concerns relating to:
- Fraud
- Unauthorized payment
- False identity
- Incorrect address
- Suspicious ordering patterns
- Payment disputes
- Repeated failed deliveries
- Abuse of delivery services
Lagaidim may cancel or restrict an order where permitted by applicable law.
38. Order Splitting
Where an order contains products that are stored at different locations or become available at different times, Lagaidim may, where reasonably necessary, split the order into multiple shipments.
Customers may receive separate deliveries or tracking information for different parts of the same order.
Any additional delivery arrangements will be communicated where applicable.
39. International Shipping
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Lagaidim currently focuses on delivery within Nepal.
International shipping, if introduced in the future, may be subject to separate terms concerning:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Customs clearance
- Import restrictions
- Prohibited products
- Documentation
- Destination-country laws
- International courier restrictions
- Delivery timelines
Customers will be responsible for complying with applicable import requirements where legally permitted and applicable.
40. Compliance With Applicable Law
Lagaidim seeks to operate its delivery and e-commerce activities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of Nepal, including the Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Act, 2081, the Consumer Protection Act, 2075, and other applicable legal requirements.
Nothing in this Shipping and Delivery Policy is intended to exclude or limit any mandatory consumer rights or legal remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where a provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory requirement of applicable law, the mandatory legal requirement shall prevail.
41. Policy Changes
Lagaidim reserves the right to update, modify, or revise this Shipping and Delivery Policy from time to time.
Changes will become effective upon publication on Lagaidim.com unless otherwise stated.
Customers are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
42. Contact and Delivery Support
For order-related delivery inquiries, customers should contact Lagaidim through its official communication channels.
When contacting us regarding an existing shipment, customers should provide:
- Order number
- Customer name
- Registered phone number
- Tracking number, if available
- Delivery location
- Description of the issue
For delays or live delivery updates involving a third-party courier, customers may also directly contact the respective delivery service using the tracking information or official contact details provided by Lagaidim.
43. Customer Acknowledgement
By placing an order through Lagaidim.com, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Kathmandu and Lalitpur deliveries generally take approximately 2 to 3 business days.
- Deliveries outside Kathmandu Valley generally take approximately 4 to 15 working days.
- Actual delivery times may be longer due to third-party delivery services and circumstances outside Lagaidim's control.
- Lagaidim may use its own delivery team, Pathao Delivery, Nepal Can Move, Yango, inDrive, or other delivery partners.
- The assigned delivery partner may vary depending on operational circumstances.
- Tracking information should be used to monitor third-party shipments.
- Customers may contact the respective delivery partner using the provided tracking information where appropriate.
- Delivery-related mishaps involving third-party logistics providers may require investigation with the relevant delivery provider.
- Lagaidim will reasonably assist in examining and attempting to resolve delivery-related issues.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
- Customers should promptly report damaged, missing, delayed, or incorrectly delivered packages to Lagaidim.
- Delivery times may be affected by weather, traffic, public holidays, road conditions, natural disasters, strikes, political events, courier capacity, and other circumstances beyond Lagaidim's reasonable control.
- Lagaidim may request partial payment for eligible COD orders before dispatch.
- If a COD order for which partial payment was made is not received and is returned due to circumstances attributable to the customer, reasonable and documented packaging, delivery, return, handling, payment processing, and other directly related costs may be deducted from the partial payment.
- Any remaining eligible balance may be refunded according to the applicable Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
- If the reasonable and documented costs exceed the partial payment, the customer may be required to pay the outstanding difference to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Return shipping costs shall generally be borne by the customer where the customer is responsible for the return, unless Lagaidim has agreed otherwise or applicable law requires Lagaidim to bear such costs.
- Customers should confirm their order details, including product, size, color, variant, quantity, and delivery information, before placing an order.
- Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
Lagaidim.com reserves the right to determine the appropriate shipping method for each order based on destination, product type, availability, delivery partner capacity, order characteristics, and other logistical considerations.
